What exactly is SharkShiverTraffic?
SharkShiverTraffic is a manual traffic exchange. You can generate (or purchase) credits that can be used to put your website in front of similar minded people. You generate credits by surfing the exchange, buying them, or viewing other members websites. The other members are also surfing the exchange and will be viewing your website as well. In other words... you can generate hundreds of thousands of Quality page views with SharkShiverTraffic.
So how do I get started with SharkShiverTraffic?
Simply click the join now button and fill in our simple registration form and verify your email.
Can I sign up for more than one account?
No. You are allowed only one account. Signing up under yourself in an effort to obtain additional credits is considered theft. You will lose all accounts, all credits, and your downline.
How do I begin earning credits?
As a member, you can surf other members websites and earn credits. Or you can simply purchase credits or earn credits by referring others to SharkShiverTraffic.
Are there other ways of getting hits to my sites besides surfing?
Yes. You can either buy credits, exchange them for banner/text link impressions, or refer new members and earn residual traffic.
What is auto-assigning?
Auto assigning means simply that the credits that you have earned by surfing and from your referrals are automatically applied to the url(s) that you have listed.
I live outside the U.S. Can I still sign up for a SharkShiverTraffic account?
Yes. However, your websites will have to be written in English. I'm sure you can understand that it would be a waste of everybody's credits if members can't understand what your website is all about.
Can my website contain more then one pop-up?
Only one (1) pop-up window is allowed per website. This also applies to pop-unders. Some affiliate programs use multiple popups. If you're promoting one of these programs, your site will not be accepted. Moreover, we do not allow MS window-type popup or alert message boxes, such as those generated by software like "Opt-In Generator". These are separate windows that need to be closed before you can continue surfing.
Can I use Fly-In-Ads?
NO!
Can I use Slide-In-Ads?
Yes. They're okay because when the site leaves, they leave too. Whereas, fly-in-ads are a separate window that has to be closed before continuing your surfing sessions.
Can my website have adult content?
No. Adult content (or links to adult or illegal sites) are NOT allowed. This also pertains to your popup. Having this kind of content will cause your account to be removed. For more details, check the SharkShiverTraffic Terms and Conditions.
What if my site can't be loaded into frames?
If a website breaks out of frames, it CAN NOT be listed in the SharkShiverTraffic network.
What happens if I run out of credits?
Once you run out of credits your page is no longer displayed. You can continue to earn more credits for free (by surfing for them), or you can purchase credits from us.
What is the 'Report Site' link?
This link is in place to help us keep SharkShiverTraffic as one of the best exchanges online. You use this link to report any websites (you see while surfing) that might violate our Terms and Conditions or notify us if a site is having problems. After we receive an email, we can then notify the site owner.
What is the 'My Account' link?
This link will take you back to your main members page.
I belong to a bunch of exchanges. Can I promote them in SharkShiverTraffic?
Absolutely. After all, a great way to advertise any quality traffic exchange is through another exchange. As a member of SharkShiverTraffic, you'll receive your own referral URL. Please use it. But what you CAN'T do is use your surfing URLs from the other exchanges in our exchange.
I never remember my password. Can I change it?
No problem. You can change your password in the member's area at any time.
Do I have to surf a certain amount of sites before I receive traffic?
Yes! You have to surf a minimum of 5 sites before you will receive any traffic. We do this to help motivate new members to use the system. Remember, traffic exchanges are driven by the members. If no one surfs, no one will receive any traffic.
How do I cancel my account?
Log in. At the bottom of the main navigation menu is the "Delete Account" button.
How long will it take to receive my commission once I request it?
You can expect to receive your commission within 72 hours.
Can we SPAM people to promote SharkShiverTraffic?
NO! We have a zero tolerance spam policy and your account will be terminated without recourse upon the first complaint! SPAM is when you send an email to someone who never requested it and we receive a complaint. If you need help with ways to promote your SharkShiverTraffic referral page, please email us and we will make suggestions.
Where can I find my referral link?
You can find your personal referral link on the "Promotion Tools" page in your members area.
